Choosing the right school for your child is a significant decision, and we’re here to make it easier for you. At Wunghnu Primary School, we welcome all students who are ready to embark on an exciting educational adventure. 

We believe that every child deserves a supportive and team-oriented learning environment. Our small size allows us to cater to the individual needs of each student, fostering a love of learning in all our students

Enrolment Process

Our enrolment process is straightforward and designed to help you every step of the way.

Applications for future Foundation enrolments are open in Term 1 &Term 2. Applications for the current schooling year for all other years are considered in Term 1 & Term 3 unless there are changes of circumstances for the enrolling student.

  1. Contact the school to arrange a tour and walkthrough, and to discuss how we can cater for your child. Collect the Enrolment Expression of Interest to Enrol form, fill it in and return it.
  2. Collect enrolment forms, fill them in and return them with a copy of the student’s birth certificate and immunisation record.
  3. Return enrolment forms and organise transition days with the junior room.
  4. Your student is now enrolled at Wunghnu Primary School.

Children must meet the age requirements for their respective year levels.

School Fees

Tuition Fees
Public schools in Victoria have no mandatory school fees. We may however invite you to: make a voluntary financial contribution to support the school; purchase extra-curricular items and activities; or purchase educational items to own.

Transportation Options

Bus travel arrangements can be coordinated through the Numurkah Secondary College, which oversees the local School Bus service. This service operates under PTV (Public Transport Victoria) and DET (Department of Education and Training) rules and guidelines. Locations covered include Invergordon, Tallygaroopna, Wunghnu, Waaia, Bearii, Naring and Strathmerton.
